Northeast Junior Civitan Club conducted a previous co-project with Horsepower
Jan Clifford, Executive Director and Tim Clifford, Youth Director, of Horse Power, speaking to the Guiford College Community Civitan Club about the upcoming 45th Annual Horseshow at their facility.

To reach the Piedmont Saddle Club, take Highway 68 North until it narrows to two lanes, the next road to the left will be Leabourne. Turn left on Leabourne and the Saddle Club will be on your left.

The first show was in August 1970. Charlie Frye, Club President at the time,
​said Clarence Knight and S.S. (Shube) Clark were responsible for bringing the
Show to our club.

Many times our show has received a "perfect 10" score from the American
Quarter Horse Judges.

The Horse Show through the year 2011 brought ad sales totals to $547,000

The Guilford College Civitan Horse Shoe is approved by the American Quarter
Horse Association.  All classes will be judged according to the AQHA Rule Book.
Show times each day is 9:00am. Admission is free.

Show grounds: Exit 210 off I-40. Take Highway 68 North. Go approximately 4.1 miles.
Leabourne Road will be ​on your left just after Highway 68 North narrows to two lanes.

For 44 years we have sponsored the Annual Guilford College Community Civitan Club Horse Show. Pictured below, are members of the Northeast Junior Civitan club at Horse Power, Therapeutic Riding Center, to discuss  training sessions so the Junior Civitan Club members can volunteer they time at The Center.

Plans are to have our 44th Annual Horse Show at Piedmont Saddle Club, Saturday, May 4, 2013.

Our 43nd Annual Horse Show will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Piedmont Saddle Club. Jan Clifford, Exec. Director of HorsePower will be our Show Manager again this year.

The Piedmont Saddle Club's address is 8001 Leabourne Road, Colfax (off of Highway 68 North).Our profit this year, 2011, on our one-day show was $1000.
