Pattie Ward Miller, Chair, reported at our October 2, 2016 business meeting, that she had delivered over 300 magazines to the waiting rooms at Moses Cone Hospital.

Our club has become quite active with Hands On Projects as a result of Pattie Ward Miller joining your club.

The 1st meeting of every month (which is the 1st Thursday of the Month) is our food drive. Each member is encourage to bring food staples to the meeting. The collection is taken to the Urban Ministry on 304 West Lee Street.

Our Food Drive for Urban Ministry was a huge success. Often we diver "car trunk full" of food to their location to Urban Ministry of Pathways House.

In April , Pattie reported a total of 157 small Easter Baskets provided to the following: 35 baskets for the children of homeless living at Pathways, a division of Urban Ministry; 107 baskets to McIver Education Center for children with development disabilities; and 15 baskets of Carolina Living & Learning Center for autistic children.
